The ACCU TYPE 14 is a robust and reliable power source designed for divers requiring long runtimes for their umbilical light heads. It represents an optimal balance between total energy capacity and manageable size. Built for technical and cold-water environments, the unit ensures stable light output throughout extended dive times and features an intelligent battery management system for enhanced safety and durability.
Capacity & Energy: Nominal capacity of 13 Ah (Ampere-hours); Total energy of 140.4 Wh (Watt-hours).
Voltage & Compatibility: Nominal voltage 10.8 V; fully compatible with all Ammonite System light heads (Solaris, Nautilus, Speleo).
Runtime (Example): Powers a 50W Solaris NextGen light head for 2 h 55 min in boost mode (4 h 50 min in operational mode).
Single Connection Port: Features one primary E/O or standard sealed port for connecting the umbilical light head.
Intelligent Safety: Equipped with a BMS (Battery Management System) for safe operation, stable power delivery, and extended battery lifespan.
Durable Construction: Sealed housing made from robust Delrin® and hard-anodized aluminum; includes a safety exhaust valve; max operational depth: 150 m.
Status Indicator: An integrated LED light on top of the battery shows the current charge level and system status.
Air Travel & Transport: Tested to UN 38.3. At 140.4 Wh it is above the 100 Wh limit: it can travel by air, but you need to notify your airline in advance, because airlines handle batteries of this size differently. Test reports and transport documents are available on our website.
Eco-Friendly: Packaged in recyclable cardboard.
Charger: Not included – must be purchased separately (AMMO Lithium Charger). One Ammonite System charger fits all our batteries, so if you already own one, you don't need to buy another.
