• LED SOLARIS NEXTGEN (up to 4500 lm, 50 W): ACCU TYPE 9 – 3 h 10 min / 1 h 55 min; ACCU TYPE 14 – 4 h 50 min / 2 h 55 min; ACCU TYPE 24 – 8 h 5 min / 4 h 50 min.
• LED SPELEO MKII (up to 3000 lm, 32 W): ACCU TYPE 9 – 11 h / 2 h 45 min; ACCU TYPE 14 – 16 h 45 min / 4 h 10 min; ACCU TYPE 24 – 29 h 5 min / 7 h 15 min.

When the battery is nearly empty, Take Me Home mode adds more than 1 hour of low-level light. Among the backup lights, LED ONE runs for about 7 hours and LED ONE MINI for about 5 h 30 min. Every product page lists its own operating times.

Operating times at full heating power:

• ACCU THERMO TYPE 14: gloves (30 W) 4 h 10 min; vest (55 W) 2 h 15 min; undersuit (110 W) 1 h 10 min; gloves + vest 1 h 30 min; gloves + undersuit 55 min.
• ACCU THERMO TYPE 24 and TYPE 24 SPECIAL: gloves (30 W) 8 h 5 min; vest (55 W) 4 h 25 min; undersuit (110 W) 2 h 10 min; gloves + vest 2 h 50 min; gloves + undersuit 1 h 45 min.

Heating power is switched between 0%, 70% and 100%; the 70% setting extends the operating time.

LED SOLARIS NEXTGEN and LED SPELEO MKII have a fixed, tightly focused 6° spot. A narrow beam penetrates silty or murky water, reduces backscatter and is easy to read when you signal to your team. Solaris NEXTGEN (up to 4500 lm, 5 reflectors) surrounds the spot with a bright corona for peripheral awareness; Speleo MKII (up to 3000 lm, 1 reflector) is the smaller, lighter head with a mild halo.

LED NAUTILUS MKII (3200 lm) uses Fresnel optics with a beam you can adjust from a 4.7° spot for long-range signalling to a 60° flood that lights the whole scene.

LED SPELEO MKII was developed for cave exploration: a tightly focused 6° beam, up to 3000 lm at 32 W, a compact head (116 mm long, 262 g, 100 g in water) and a 200 m depth rating. If you want more output, LED SOLARIS NEXTGEN gives up to 4500 lm with the same 6° spot plus a brighter corona, also rated to 200 m. If you prefer one head for both signalling and wide illumination, LED NAUTILUS MKII has a beam adjustable from 4.7° to 60° and is rated to 150 m.

All three heads work with every ACCU battery. For cold caves, an ACCU THERMO battery powers the light and your heating system at the same time.

A primary cable light named SET includes the light head, an ACCU battery, a connecting cable, a charger and spare O-rings, packed with manuals and a warranty card. A product named (head) is the light head only and needs an Ammonite System battery and cable. A Goodman handle is not included in either and is sold separately: see Goodman Soft, Standard and Modular.

The electronics in our primary light heads monitor the battery level. When the battery is nearly depleted, the light warns you with several short flashes and switches automatically to BACK-UP mode (20% intensity). It stays in this power-saving mode, whatever the switch position, until the battery is recharged, and gives you more than one hour of light to end the dive safely.

Absolutely. Our equipment is designed for all levels of divers — from recreational to advanced technical diving. Many technical divers rely on our heating systems, valves, and torches for deep and extended dives.

ACCU THERMO TYPE 14 is the compact choice for technical dives that need up to about 3–4 hours of heating, and is rated to 150 m. ACCU THERMO TYPE 24 gives the longest operating time for long, cold dives and decompression, and is rated to 100 m. ACCU THERMO TYPE 24 SPECIAL has the same capacity in a full aluminium housing rated to 200 m, with two E/O outputs.

Yes. Every ACCU THERMO battery has two independent outputs: a permanently installed E/O cord for heated dive wear (vest, gloves or undersuit) and a second port used for charging or for a 12 V umbilical light head. ACCU THERMO TYPE 24 SPECIAL has two E/O outputs. Heating power is switched between 0%, 70% and 100%.

To bring the power into your drysuit, the T-VALVE Thermo replaces the standard inflation valve and passes the heating connection through the suit. It is available for Apeks and SI-Tech standard ports.

ACCU THERMO batteries supply the heating system through an E/O connector, an industry standard for underwater connections, with a standard 12 V output. Heated dive wear that has an E/O connector and is designed for a 12 V battery can be connected. Before diving, check the supply voltage and power draw of your garment with its manufacturer. As a guide, our operating times are measured with 30 W gloves, a 55 W vest and a 110 W undersuit.

Yes, all our connecting cables fit the ACCU THERMO batteries, with one exception: the Sidemount cables. Because of the way a Sidemount cable is built, in a sidemount configuration it can damage the battery's charging port. For a sidemount configuration we recommend a standard cable (HD or UHD). The most commonly used length is 150 cm (59 in), and we can also make custom lengths on request.

All ACCU and ACCU THERMO batteries are tested to UN 38.3, and the test summaries and full test reports are on our Manuals & Documents page. Airlines limit lithium-ion batteries by energy: up to 100 Wh is normally accepted in carry-on baggage, 100–160 Wh usually needs the airline's approval, and batteries above 160 Wh are generally not accepted in passenger baggage. ACCU TYPE 9 has 90.72 Wh, which is why we recommend it for air travel. The 14 batteries (ACCU TYPE 14 and ACCU THERMO TYPE 14) have 140.4 Wh and the 24 batteries (ACCU TYPE 24, TYPE 24 SPECIAL, ACCU THERMO TYPE 24 and TYPE 24 SPECIAL) have 253.26 Wh, so confirm with your airline before you fly with them.

Through the AMMOPOWER programme we offer a free extension to a 3-year warranty on all compact torches, cable light systems, heating systems, T-VALVES and ACCU THERMO batteries. To benefit from the 3-year cover, read the user manual carefully and keep your proof of purchase.
Note: the extended warranty does not cover the battery cells themselves.
