Connecting the lamp head to a separate battery allows for a compact torch that delivers bright light and long burn times. The ACCU TYPE 24 SPECIAL features a lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery pack, free from the lazy battery effect and protected against overvoltage.

The casing combines marine-grade high-strength aluminum with a hard-anodized, seawater-corrosion-resistant finish.
The canister is sealed with two O-rings and equipped with a safety valve.

All umbilical lights, cables, batteries, and heating batteries use the same type of connector, unchanged for years. Standard ACCU batteries come with a webbing loop for hip belt attachment. Alternative fastening systems such as Sidemount Buckle or ACCU CLIC MOUNT (R) are also available.

Lithium battery transport follows international regulations, varying by air, sea, or road. All our Li-Ion batteries comply with UN Transportation Testing (UN/DOT 38.3) for Lithium Cells and Batteries, ensuring safe shipping.

The BMS provides additional benefits, including extending the life of the battery cells and maintaining a minimum safe level of charge.
